Gorgeous Day at Jewel Box in Forest Park | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

Weddings

If you’ve ever envisioned a wedding that feels like a blend of garden romance and timeless architecture: the Jewel Box in Forest Park might just be your dream come true. I absolutely am obsessed with this venue as a St. Louis wedding photographer. And Riley and Jack’s wedding here was the perfect example of why. A day full of sunshine, soft color, and so. much. joy.

Their day started outside near the lily pad pond, where the summer light filtered through the trees perfectly.

My photographer heart was HAPPY. Riley looked radiant in her off-the-shoulder lace gown, as the long train cascading behind her as her veil caught the breeze. Her bridesmaids stood by her side in a stunning mix of pastel dresses. They looked SO, so good. A palette of soft yellows, pinks, greens, and blues that almost looked like a bouquet of flowers themselves!

Every single color complemented the lush garden backdrop too, creating the kind of effortless beauty and cohesive vision.

Getting Married at the Jewel Box in Forest Park is just really something special.

Inside the Jewel Box where Riley and Jack had their ceremony, sunlight poured through the glass walls. It was bouncing off the tropical palms and creating this dreamy, greenhouse glow. It’s hard to overstate how magical it feels in there. The mix of architecture and greenery gives such a unique atmosphere. I know I’m gushing about it, but it really was that beautiful.

Afterward, guests gathered outside as the sun began to dip lower, reflecting off the ponds dotted with blooming lilies. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Riley and Jack shared a quiet kiss by the water while basking in that “we just got married” glow. It’s those tiny pauses amid celebration that make days like this so special to capture.

Later, everyone headed to the nearby pavilion for the reception. A perfect transition from the lush greenhouse energy to a relaxed evening of laughter, conversation, and celebration under the arches. It was simple, classic, and full of warmth. Just like Riley and Jack.

If you’re planning a St. Louis wedding, I think you’ll love the Jewel Box in Forest Park. It’s definitely worth a visit!

If you want a space that feels both elegant and natural, this venue is one of the most stunning spots you can choose. August through early September is especially beautiful. The pond is in full bloom, and the light inside the glass structure is ethereal. Whether you’re drawn to the botanical gardens, the airy glass walls, or that feeling of being surrounded by nature in the middle of the city, it’s the kind of venue that makes every photo shine.

As a St. Louis wedding photographer, it’s just quickly become one of my favorite places to shoot.

Congrats to Riley & Jack on your gorgeous, happy day!!!

I’m drawn to the unfiltered moments that make up real life. My work is about more than just what’s seen—it’s about what’s felt. My focus is on capturing emotion, connection, and the in-between moments that often go unnoticed but hold the most meaning. If you’re looking for imagery that feels real, personal, and alive, let’s create something together.
