When a wedding day is all about joy, connection, and soaking up every second with your people, you get a day like Abeeha and Jared’s. This beautiful multi-cultural celebration was one for the books.
These two didn’t want to disappear for hours of portraits… they wanted to be in the moment, surrounded by the family and friends who had traveled from all over the world to celebrate.
And what a celebration it was.
We started the morning at the Chase Park Plaza, where Abeeha got ready with her bridesmaids in a swirl of color. I loved how each bridesmaid wore a different rich, jewel-toned dress…. think: sage green, dusty blue, burnt orange, deep red… creating a gorgeous rainbow around Abeeha’s classic white gown. Her wedding dress was an off-the-shoulder puff sleeves classic, with intricate lace texture. Her bouquet? An explosion of vibrant blooms from Root & Relic, with pops of fuchsia, tangerine, and lavender that set the tone for the entire day. I’m loving the trend of bright colors at weddings right now. Sign me up every time!
The ceremony took place at the Jewel Box in Forest Park, a St. Louis gem filled with towering palms, glass ceilings, and soft sunlight streaming in. Under a white-draped chuppah adorned with lush greenery, they blended Pakistani and Jewish traditions in a way that felt deeply personal, complete with the warmth of their loved ones encircling them.
This multi-cultural celebration was stunning to photograph at every turn. Making my job as a St. Louis wedding photographer feel so seamless and natural.
From there, guests headed to the Ritz-Carlton for cocktail hour, then into the Solarium for the reception. If you’ve ever dreamed of dining in a garden, this was it. Florals hung from the ceiling, garlands of blooms draped above the dance floor, and colorful centerpieces bursting with life on every table. Revel & Wonder made sure every detail flowed seamlessly, so the entire evening could unfold organically. Which is what the bride & groom wanted more than anything.
Dinner was a delicious mix of both their cultures. Because what’s better than celebrating love with incredible food? And once the music started, the party really took off. From their first dance (Abeeha in the most stunning red and gold lehenga) to the hora with chairs lifted high, the night was a joyful blur of dancing, laughing, and pure multi-cultural celebration.
Abeeha and Jared’s wedding was proof that when you plan a day centered on your love, your people, and your favorite traditions, it becomes something unforgettable.
